Dear Friend of Crimestoppers,

We invite you to participate as a sponsor in our "A Night of Blue" to be held at Generations Hall on Thursday, September 12, 2019.

We know that you have various charities requesting your support; however, Crimestoppers is tlte only organization that provides a means for citizens to report crimes anonymously. The Crimestoppers' tip hotline has a significant impact on crime in our region. Since inception in 1982, we have assisted law enforcement in solving approximately 17,000 violent crimes, with over $2,201,000 in cash rewards paid - all done with information provided anonymously through our tip line! Also, in this 2018-19 school year alone, we have processed over 800 tips from students in GNO Area schools through our Safe Schools App. These tips have helped with threats of school violence, bullying and reports of self -harm. Providing students and citizens a place to speak up and be heard is critical.

Without the generous donations from individuals and businesses, our reward program would not be possible. In addition, proceeds from our Night of Blue help fund the operations of our tips hotline and Youth Crime Prevention programs.
