Help us prevent and solve crime, violence and victimization in our community and the nine parishes we serve! YOU can help keep our community safe by donating to CrimestoppersGNO on May 5th!

Violent crime is a serious concern for our community. Through tips called into our anonymous hotline, citizen engagement is at an all time high proving the resources CrimestoppersGNO provides are not only simple and effective, but they work! CrimestoppersGNO fielded over 10,000 tips for investigation (through December, 2025), visited over 309 schools and community organizations, presenting its Safe School program to 61,779 students on crime prevention to help them identify at risk behavior and intervene to get help before an incident or tragedy occurs.

Who can make a donation on GiveNOLA Day?
Anyone can make a donation to a nonprofit that has created a profile on GiveNOLA.org! The minimum donation is $10.

How can I make a donation on GiveNOLA Day?
On May 5th, starting at 12:00 a.m. and for the next 24 hours, go to the home page and use your credit or debit card to donate to any participating nonprofit. You can search for a nonprofit by name, category, or parish – click here: www.givenola.org/crimestoppersgno

Is there an option for early giving?
Yes! Donors have the ability to make an online donation starting on April 28th. To schedule a donation between May 5 and June 1, a donor can access GiveNOLA.org and check out as usual.
