OPERATION “CLEAN SWEEP” FUGITIVE ROUND UP

Crimestoppers has worked for many years in partnership with the U.S. Marshal Service and local law enforcement to apprehend individuals who have warrants out for their arrest. Operation “Clean Sweep” Fugitive Round Up is an opportunity to bring these fugitives to justice. On Sunday, October 26, 2014 US Marshal task force squads will be out on the lookout for the 50 Individuals featured in the Crimestoppers Operation “Clean Sweep” ad which will appear in both local papers: The New Orleans Advocate and The Times Picayune – as well as on the Crimestoppersgno.org web site. (All individuals listed have been provided to Crimestoppers by law enforcement). Citizens are encouraged to look at the pictures of these individuals and if they recognize anyone, please call in a tip. Operation Clean Sweep will continue throughout the next two weeks and Crimestoppers will update their web site as individuals are apprehended off the list.

Crimestoppers offers a $1,000 cash reward for tips that lead to the arrest of a fugitive featured in Operation “Clean Sweep.” Additional reward money of up to $1,500 may be paid upon the indictment of a suspect wanted for murder to the caller whose tip leads to an arrest.
