Our Staff

Executive Director – Darlene Cusanza – The day-to-day management of the organization is the responsibility of the executive director. The current executive director has served in this capacity for the past ten years. Prior to joining CrimestoppersGNO, she held a top administrative position for the Society of Louisiana CPAS, a statewide not-for-profit for twelve years. She also holds a Bachelors degree from L.S.U.M.C. School of Allied Health Professions. Under her leadership, CrimestoppersGNO has been awarded a national Crimestoppers GNO Media Award, the F.B.I. Regional Director’s Award, and awards of recognition from local crime fighting organizations. The executive director also currently serves as the President of the Louisiana Crime Stoppers Association and is a founding member.

Office Manager – Pat Dominio – In addition to the executive director, the staff consists of an administrative assistant, a volunteer certified public accountant who serves as the treasurer/book keeper.

Safe School Coordinator – Shira Hussain – manages the Safe Schools Program throughout all nine parishes, which include private, public and parochial schools. Coordinates Teen Ambassadors Against Crime (TAAC) through Crimestoppers youth program

New Orleans Police Department Crimestoppers Coordinator – Officer Juan Barnes – CrimestoppersGNO receives support from all of the law enforcement agencies in which we serve. The primary law enforcement liaison is with New Orleans Police Department
