On May 24, 2018 at approximately 8:00 a.m. NOPD investigating a fatal shooting in the 3000 block of Touro Street found Jermaine Mitchell lying face down on the sidewalk portion of a driveway suffering from multiple gun shot wounds to the body. Mitchell was pronounced dead on the scene.
