NOPD Seventh District officers responded to a call of a single vehicle Crash near Basinview Drive and South I-10 Service Road on December 24, 2020 around 10:23 a.m. Upon Arrival, officers were informed that a man’s body was inside the vehicle’s trunk. The victim, Arnold Savoy, was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS, and the incident was changed to homicide by shooting.
