On May 16, 2025, Officer Feraci was responsible for identifying a large-scale, multi-state, organized retail theft ring. Officers responded to Dick’s Sports Goods in Town Center Parkway, and during the initial call for service, officers captured one subject, recovering over $1600 worth of stolen goods. Knowing other subjects were involved, Officer Feraci took it upon himself to author a search warrant on the apprehended subject’s cellphone to identify the other subjects involved, who were able to avoid capture. This search warrant led not only to the identification of three additional subjects involved but also uncovered that the crew was responsible for a theft at the Dick’s Sporting Goods in Mobile, Alabama, totaling over $3,600 worth of merchandise. Furthermore, the group attempted a theft at Dick’s Sporting Goods in D’Iberville, Mississippi, but were unsuccessful in stealing any merchandise.
