CRIMESTOPPERS GNO MEDIA ALERT
Tuesday, October 23rd kicks off OPERATION BOO DAT!
Operation Boo Dat is a sex offender compliance/enforcement operation beginning TODAY and will end on November 18, 2018. The operation is sponsored by Crimestoppers GNO, in partnership with the U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force New Orleans. Agencies included in the Taskforce are New Orleans Police Department Sex Offender Registration Unit, Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office Sex Offender Registration Unit, St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office Sex Offender Registration Unit, LA State Police, LA Probation and Parole, Eastern District of Louisiana U.S. Probation, and Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Office. Operation Boo Dat is scheduled during the Halloween season as registered Sex Offenders should not partake in soliciting “trick or treaters” to their homes. The wanted suspects featured have not been compliant with the registration check ins, etc. and are now wanted due to their noncompliance.
The attached photos we are circulating with the hope that your agency will assist in promoting them. Crimestoppers will also be releasing photos of this year's 21 targets on our Facebook and Instagram accounts over the next several days, and the complete list of the subjects will be pictured on www.crimestoppersgno.org.
Anyone with information on these suspects must contact Crimestoppers directly at (504) 822-1111 to be eligible for the reward. Tipsters will remain completely anonymous. If your tip leads to arrest, you will be eligible for a $1,000 cash reward upon arrest of the suspect. Tipster may also DOWNLOAD our new Crimestoppers GNO “SAY IT HERE” Smart phone app to send anonymous tips.
