Preventing an Active Shooter in a House of Worship Training

Crimestoppers in conjunction with NOPD, Law Enforcement, and our Project Good Samaritan Committee will present an Active Shooter Training.

Where: Greater St. Stephen's Full Gospel Church, 5600 Read Blvd.

Come join us for an afternoon of training which we are presently working on with NOPD (Superintendent Michael Harrison) and area law enforcement to help clergy in preventing an "Active Shooter" situation in their "House of Worship". Saturday, February 24th at the Greater St. Stephen's Full Gospel Church in New Orleans East, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

New Orleans, Louisiana, February 24th, 2018 from 10:00am  - 1:00pm Faith Leaders from the New Orleans Metro area & surrounding parishes are coming together to combat and address how faith leaders should prepare and respond in the event of an active shooter during a worship service. The NOPD will present a program how faith leaders can prevent and handle an active shooter situation in a worship setting. We are inviting all leaders tasked with the safety of all religious services. The presentation will also include a panel of law enforcement experts on active shooter situations who will be available for questions. The program will conclude with a short reception where networking time with our law enforcement partners will be provided. We invite all communities of Faith to attend this event.
