Teen Peace Congress - April 1rst, 2017

A summit where teens talk and criminal justice leaders listen.

At the 2nd Annual Teen Peace Congress, high school students will

  • talk face to face with community leaders on violent crime and safety
  • network with teens and other schools
  • discuss ways to diffuse conflict and promote unity

This is a great opportunity for teen leaders to meet exclusively with federal, state and city officials to highlight gun violence, hate crimes, cultural barriers and teen resources.

Special guests include US Attorney Kenneth Polite, NOPD Superintendent Michael Harrison, Sheriff Marlin Gusman, US Marshal Genny May, NOPD Commander Nicholas Gernon, FBI Agent in Charge Jeffrey Sallet, DEA Agent Craig Wiles, ATF Agent Kurt Thielhorn, ATF Agent Joseph Belisle, Criminal Court Judge Robin Pittman and Criminal Court Judge Keva Landrum, Orleans Public Defender Kenneth Hardin, ADL Regional Director Allison Padilla-Goodman.
