Invitation from our Chairmen

December 4, 2013

Dear Friend of Crimestoppers:

From the Mother's Day shooting to the recent violent death of a 7- month old baby on the Crescent City Connection, Crimestoppers has been the consistent message we hear and read about in the media each and every day.  The reason for this, as our Law Enforcement leaders have said many times, is because "Crimestoppers works".

Crimestoppers represents "community policing" at its best!  The Crimestoppers process is able to harness the collective power of everyday citizens to assist law enforcement in solving crimes, thereby leveraging police departments' valuable investigative time and resources, as evidenced by the attached testimonials. Criminals know no boundaries. Crimestoppers has been and remains the only regional crime-fighting program that works with Federal, State and Local law enforcement throughout nine parishes.  The partnership of law enforcement and Crimestoppers represents a powerful and effective crime-fighting team.

We invite you to be part of our crime fighting team and join us on March 25, 2014 at the New Orleans Hilton Hotel for our Annual Awards Luncheon, where we honor  those who continue to make a difference in public safety.

As citizens and business leaders of Metropolitan New Orleans, we are constantly concerned with crime as it relates to our region's economic growth and quality of life.  As business leaders, we research best practices and stand behind programs and services which have a proven record of success.  This is why we are again asking you to stand behind Crimestoppers and support its programs.

A pledge of $5,000 and above will also provide you an invitation to a private "briefing" reception with local, state and federal heads of criminal justice agencies.  Whether you participate as a new sponsor or a returning partner, we welcome and encourage you to consider Crimestoppers in your budget.  Contributing to Crimestoppers ensures a solid return on your investment!
